VINs have check digits for a reason. The check digit in THAT VIN you supplied is NOT valid. Therefore, you mistyped it or something, because if the check digit is not valid, neither is the whole VIN.

Is there any way to find out how many S2000s are still in existance for a certain year and below a certain number? I have had my S since the day they were released in September 2000 and my S is #144. I'd like to know how many of the 143 older ones are on the road. I would guess that some were crash tested and don't exist, and others wrecked by bad drivers. Be nice to have the oldest one in the US.
