Default VIS Mugen Replica Hardtop

Do most people leave the sides unpainted?

(Pic is member s2k.'s and not mine)

I am thinking that it is a black only thing to paint it? IMO it looks pretty sick, the reason I am asking is I have an '04 BB and am getting my hardtop next week hopefully.

(Picture from google)
Edit: accidentally found out who owns this awesome s2k

Most people actually do paint the sides black. They don't leave it unpainted, the only people who do have a carbon fiber top. It looks a lot better painted black, than the color of the car IMO.

Agreed, except for people who have removed the windshield tape. That's when things start to go south for me.

And if you have a BB S, then I would suggest you paint the top BB but have the sides painted a flat black...Looks very good as well.

Got my hardtop today
Do I want to paint it before installing or does it matter? If I install it should I leave the window off until it is painted? (Mostly I want to get the 6 hour install done this thanksgiving break, I will leave the hardtop off until it is painted, it smells! lol)
