I went to the dealer today, not for my stook, but to take my wife's '99 ex coupe in for 30K service. I can't believe the damn thing needed rear brakes; they said the fronts were only about 50% gone. Well, anyway, I wandered up to the showroom while I waited and saw three S2Ks on the floor. They had two silvers and one white. It turns out that the silvers were used 2000 models with 3K miles each and they were asking $38,900 per. I nearly fell over, and promptly exited laughing. I didn't even ask what they wanted for the '01 white. Ridiculous!

 

Two new '01 S2K's just sold on Nov. 30th at Scottsdale Honda for $45,000+. The salesmen that I talked to said the frenzy is like nothing they have seen.

 

Damn stealers, Marin Acura here in CA wants $38k for a used one with 20k miles!!!

I purchased mine for MSRP with 7600 miles. It has all the boddy add-ons and cd changer as well.

This was six months ago. Didn't someone say that supply was finally meeting demand?

 

I bought a 2000 model with 33 miles on it, brand spankin' new for $32,416. Not a bad price, eh?

 

Got my 2001 brand new for MSRP. In-fact. After it was backed off the truck, I was the one that drove it to the garage.
hehe...I got to put the absolute first miles on the car.
