Default vortech woes...

well'p i need ta vent n i figure maybe u guys can help me feel better... it starts off like this... lass month i purchased the vortech kit and got it installed by rpmnyc ... they said they had sum problems w/ the little computer box that came w/ the kit... everytime they wired the whole thing together it would register a check engine light code 58 sumtin w/ the TDC sensor... they bypased that part of the computer and told me the car runs fine and i would be able to drive it until i got in touch w/ vortech... in one week of driving lo n behold the check engine light went on again while i was on the road... and mind u i go to college about an hour and a half from my shop... i called vortech and they said they'd have to replace the computer... i asked them how long it would take since i wont be able to drive my car (its my only driver)... and they said they had no clue since they didnt even have the item in stock!.... so now they want me to send their defective computer first and wait to get a new one... its not fair... they messed up... how come i have to lose my car for an X amount of days until they can get their sh*t together any feed back... would be greatly appreciated... thanks guys

Perhaps you could suggest to them that they get you a loaner until the part is replaced. (~$25 per day) ???

Can't you just take the belt off the SC and run the car without the SC? Or am I not understanding your problem.

I recommend spending a little more time in your English composition class.

im in the same boat pnoy! i already sent my timing box back to vortech and i still have'nt received a new box. i didnt get an eta either. just make sure when you send your defective box back in you ask them for their fedex account number so that you dont have to pay for that shit.

When will we ever get the new boxes!!!!
