How could you vote for a car as unreliable as the RX-8? Engine recall? Thats just plain sad.
Here are details of the engine problem: http://rotarynews.com/node/view/822

The E46 M3 had a massive engine recall as well, but most of you would still trade your S's for an M3 in a heartbeat. Sometimes there are design flaws in the first few years of production. Plenty of S2000s are fragging transmissions, holes in the soft top, clutch rattling etc. At least Mazda stepped up to replace the engines in a timely manner and extended the powertrain warranty to 5/60. If the engine lets go in 4 years then no money will come out of pocket but if your S2000 transmission or F20 goes then you're out 5 grand.

Thank you for stating that. I find it strange how people rag about reliability, and yet choose BMWs assuming they're problem free.
