i am going to buy three. one for the inside of my car, one for the front so people will know when i hit vtec and to move out the way, and one for the back plate so when i am passing people they can know too.

the theory, some will call it fact, about this mod or making your own vtec light is that for track and autox you sometimes dont have time to look at the tach as the steering wheel gets in your way (spokes) thus having some sort of light in the pillar or away from anything that would hinder you seeing it. Think about it this way, you are at the track about to get into a corner you are in vtec you are about to quickly steer into another conner but had already upshifted how do you know if you are in the power band. Of course one can play it by ear and feel but under the circumstances and the modified cars making all sorts of sounds around you it can be distracting.
