VTEC KICKING IN

if you 'granny' it through 6K RPM...the transition into VTEC is not as dramatic as if you punch it through the 6K cam lobe tranisition ....

this is normal if there is such a thing. (as normal)

mederate acceleration = moderate transition

dramatic acceleration = dramatic transition

for me, 1st to 2nd shift is pretty noticable, but 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th are a lot less noticable, by the time im in 6th gear, all you hear is a different sound at transition.

is it normal for the v-tec to hit harder sometimes, and then other times not as hard. cause ive noticed that when i drive. thought it had something to do with the temperature of the engine, but both times the car was warmed up

oh and im gunning it both times. its just someitmes the v-tec hits harder.

^ i think this happens to me sometimes. sometimes it will kick in harder then others...anyone know why???
