Default WANA go a lililil lower...

so i bought my megan track coilovers from my friend tam a while back. it was already set on a specific ride height and all that good stuff. hmm well i want to go a lil lower... more like 1/4 inch or so? to eliminate the lil gap... so.. hypothetically speaking, would i need realignment after adjusting my ride height by a quarter of an inch? and if i do need realignment, will the differences be huge? one more question..how the hell do i lower the car lol. something about adjusting the top perch and bottom, clockwise, counterclockwise... bleh. im confused! helppp

heres a side pic for reference. i wana get rid of the gap..=[ so.. will i need realignment for lowering car 1/4 inch all around? (or less actually) and how exactly do i lower it? thanks

Lowering it a little should just give you a little more camber. If you just got a basic spec alignment then I doubt it'd be a major problem. Just keep an eye on the inside of the tire for abnormal wear.

yes a 1/4" shouldnt do to much, you may be able to even scam a tire shop into "checking" your alignment in the hopes that you will pay them to realign the car... just ask them to print off you specs and post them for review as i'm sure they will say its way off.
good luck

Yeah, you need it. Try calling Megan racing, they're just around the corner. If you use the same wrench as KW, I'll have Kevin Wang bring it to you.

Well it sounds like you bought the coilovers from your friend and installed it on your car. You didn't do an alignment then and you're going to lower it another 1/4". You'd need an alignment. Essentially you're lowering your car more than 1/4" total since you lowered it previously when you installed the coilovers.
