Default Want to get an S2000...advice?

I just test drove an 02 S and it was damn beautiful experience. I am really interested in getting one, but unclear as to my route. I have two possible choices in front of me, given my budgetary issues:

1.) a dealer in my area has two leftover 02

I'd go for it. Sounds like a good deal. With a full warranty you should be covered, I say that loosely.

I believe Honda has a 3 year/ 36K mile warranty. I would make sure that you get something in writing that ensures you get the full 3 years/36K out of the warranty, and that the warranty wouldn't expire in 2005 when the 3 year is up.

If it truly gets a full factory warranty, I'd jump at it.

Go for it!!

I've owned my 02 since last October and I simply love it. The novelty and driving pleasure of the car has not faded one bit!!! And to think I was pretty dead set on getting a 350Z. But the dealer supposedly "could not locate the car" I wanted and slowly tried to work me up to a higher model where it was eventually out of my price range. Not falling for that. Things work out for a reason and this was it!! It was fate! I used to drive a 93 MR2 so the S is a little less practical IMO in terms of storage space. Although there will always be a special place in my heart for the second gen Mister 2, the S2000 is the closest substitute out there. I think that the S2000 is a semi-exotic (like the Mk2 MR2) considering the limited production and very high tech design of the car. My g/f almost bought one but she told me that this is going to be her next car. In the meantime, I will let her drive it whenever she wants.
