Default Warming up your S2000

When you go and start your S2000, how long do you usually let it idle before you start driving?

31.4 seconds and a half

(LOL, btw, is better to warm up the engine making it work with some load, moving to unpark, etc, than simply let the camshaft turn in neutral)

I usually back it out of the garage within a few seconds of starting it. Then I let it idle while the garage door closes and I fasten the seatbelt. Total of maybe 30 - 45 seconds. Then I just drive it as if the pavement was wet for the first ten minutes or so.

As long as it takes to put my seat belt on. Then I drive it easy for a few blocks. Easy meaning early shifts, light throttle. If it's really cold (like colder than -20*C) I let it warm up to maybe 2-3 minutes or however long it takes to brush the snow off or scrape the windows clear.
Since you live in Vancouver and it rarely goes below freezing, do your seat belt up and go.

I back it out of the garage, then let it run about a minute.

Once the engine revs start to drop from the usual 2K rpm at startup, I'll back out of the garage and go. Otherwise, for the remainder of the day, just a few seconds after starting.

I'm a little weird about this and I know that many will tell me that I'm hurting the car but...

Keep in mind that I live in sunny S. CA and it never really gets that cold here.

I never back it out of the garage or start to drive until the rips have dropped and I've got at least two bars on the temp. gauge. I drive her very gingerly for the first couple of miles/minutes after I show a full three bars and wait maybe ten minutes of normal driving (until the tranny is warmed, etc.) before I really get into the gas.
