Default "WARNING," In 2003 Owners Manual

On page i (first page) of the 2003 S2000 Owner's Manual states the following: California Proposition 65 Warning. WARNING: This product contains or emits chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
I stopped smoking 25 years ago to help eliminate the possibility of getting cancer. What the hell is this?

Is that what they're talking about? Exhaust? Oh man, I got to get another cup of strong coffee this morning to clear the cob webs.

If you own an S2000 and keep it in a garage, you MUST turn off the engine when the garage doors are closed.

It means that the interior plastic parts could give off vapors that could cause cancer.

That's what I thought it meant. Must be some kind of toxic material contained in the plastic mix. Maybe I'll never put the top up.
