Thanks for the link , I haven't seen that car. Ideally I'm looking for an '02 or an '03, but I just went to see that '01 because the mileage was ridiculously low. I'd really like to stay lower than 30k miles, but I do appreciate the link. Thanks.

 

Believe me, part of me wanted to remain calm and then just take the car for a test drive so I could deliberately try to blow the engine on the car so he couldn't pull the wool over someone else's eyes. He had the balls to tell me that a local kid was interested in the car and he wished he could sell it to him instead of me because he seemed more grateful and really wanted the car. After he started yelling at me, calling me an idiot I completely lost my temper and called him a few choice words that I regret saying, even though he was a total scum bag. I just couldn't believe that this guy was getting an attitude with me after having completely wasted my time with his outright lies about the car being perfect. I guess there is another term that I'm not familar with that is better than "perfect," which is used to describe a car that includes oil in the engine.

 

That sucks bro. Personally I would have turned around when the carfax came back bad.

Wow... that's horrible. How can he own multiple body shops and never change the oil? We're not talking about a spoiled rich teenage girl that doesn't know a thing about cars.

I'm surprised you only cursed him out. I'm not sure I could have shown that much restraint. I think it would have been appropriate if you had test drove it and killed his motor.

And I would flag this guy's ad every time it comes up. Or post up the link and we'll help you flag it.
