I did this to one of those scumbags before.....

I consistently posted up his phone number for random ads on craigslist showing ridiculous good deals.

Create tons of ads advertising to sell computers, camera, ipods, tvs, anything! Even erotic services at ridiculous cheap prices and put his number and name.

Price of deceiving searcher? Not that big of deal...
Price of having his phone blowing up for meaningless shit? Priceless...

EDIT: shoot if you give me his number. I'll do it, reading that story gets me all boiled.
Dooooo it!!!

That guy in the ad isn't the owner/seller of the car, that's the guy's friend.

Yes I do, but honestly I'm a big believer in karma so I would rather not be responsible for spamming up his phone. I guess if you needed me to PM you his # since your interested in his car then you can call him as you see fit.

Yes! I was looking for a badly treated s2000 with no oil sold by a ignorant individual! If you can be so kind as to PM me his number, I want to purchase it immediately!

To be honest, I know your upset and I would be too, but you have wasted enough time on this scum bag..., let it go and move on.

Let this be a lesson to get more information and more pictures before you spend 5 hours driving to see a car.

Yessir, I made the mistake that I would "lose the car." I now have the attitude that I'll just have to wait for what I'm looking for and if I miss a deal than so be it. Also, for all out of state cars I'll post up a thread on the local forums and see if I can get someone to do me the favor of looking over the car for me before spending the day driving. Definitely a lesson learned on my part.

If you want to be really evil, use his cell number as an email, and sign him up for spam and it will send him a million text messages.
ie. <10digitphonenumber>@cingularme.com if he uses AT&T.

and flagged it.
I'm local and was going to "check out" this car but the ad is flagged

Hey, can anyone run a carfax or autocheck by any chance? I'm about to look at another car tomorrow (this one is local, which is a nice change from the 10 hour drive of the last car ), but I just would like to make sure that nothing comes up on the vehicle history.
