If the warranty is transferable, it starts with the first purchase. So if you bought it from someone who bought it used.... then most likely it started back in 04.

The warranty starts when the car is first titled. If the original owner bought the car in April of 2005, then that is when the warranty started. Just ask any Honda dealer to run your VIN.

thank you for the reponse. the service person did not answer me clearly the 1st time i ask.that is why i was loss, but i confronted him when i pick the car up from oil change and ask him agian, then he finally ran the vin, and you guys are right, the warranty started on date of delivery (meaning date of purchase) even if the car is setting on lot for 6 months.. only if the service people are not too lazy to do there job instead of some b-s anwer without checking things out before answering it would not be so confusing.

No ofcourse not. If the bumper falls off in your driveway, its covered. If you run the bumper into a curb and scratch it all to hell, call the insurance company, not the dealer.

Though there's a fair case to be made that the paint is defective on a lot of S2000s. Our paint scratches if you look at it funny, anyone have success getting the crappy paint warrentied.
