Hey, I just bought my second S2k, its an 02 with 42k miles. The previous owner purchased it Honda Certified that came with a transferable warranty. It has bumper to bumper through this June or 50k, and powertrain through 100k or June of 09.

If I mod it at all (all I had in mind was maybe an AEM V2 intake and a few other small things) will that void the warranty?

the short answer is no, the long answer is maybe. depends on whether or not your dealership will be a-holes about the mods you do vs the warranty work you need to have done.

You also have a true Honda extended warranty since it was CPO, not just a hondacare contract, everyone seems to report that is much better! Makes me wish I bought mine CPO.

 

Cool guys, thanks for your help. I talked to a local dealership when I was inquiring about an AEM V2 cold air intake and they said it will not void my warranty at all. Got names of the people who told me that, so I'll jsut make sure I get all warranty work done there. Looking forward to getting it put on.

Anyone know of any good slotted drilled rotors?
