Yes, ethanol is hydroscopic. That means it absorbs water.
Um.... no.

You need more nights at the Holiday Inn Express.

HyGROscopic (not HyDROscopic).

haha, just dump acetone in your tank. acetone dissolves both water and hydrocarbon compounds.
No, probably not a good idea.

You're right, thanks for the correction (I and other modelers have been using that term for years incorrectly!!), but what do you mean by Holiday Inn Express?

PS. No need to be sarky about it. The 'Um... no' was not necessary.

ahhh! now I'm all worried because I only drive my S2000 during the weekends now and so that means the fuel will sit in my car for quite a while before I fill up with new fuel.

do you guys think that's long enough for the water to separate from the fuel? I hope not. please reassure me someone.
You will not have issues if you run through a tank of gas every week or two - I am concerned with a car sitting up on blocks for 5+ months through the winter - which arrived a month early this year! - (so much for global warming).

Just found this little article on the web ..... informative - not helpful, but informative.

!E-10 Ethanol Fuel Problems
STAR BRITE STAR TRON SOLVES FUEL PROBLEMS CAUSED BY NEW FORMULATED E-10 ETHANOL ENHANCED GASOLINE
The gasoline we buy for our boats and cars is in the process of a major reformulation. Ethanol, an alcohol derived primarily from corn, is both a domestically produced, and renewable fuel. E-10 (10% ethanol) has become a critical component of our fuel infrastructure, but it requires better housekeeping, especially in the boating industry. Ethanol is being phased into the fuel supply across the country.
The problem is all alcohol
