-25 Spare Tire
-2 Trunk Trim
-7 Tools/Jack
-1 Mats/Visors
-30 (1/2 tank gas)
-12 Optima Battery
-15 Recaro SPG/Taitec rails (per seat)
-5 Center Console
-10 Stock Rollhoops/Plastic (I have an aftermarket rollbar)
-2? Washer Fluid
-1 Alum Pulleys
-30 Wilwood Brakes
-15 Interior (sound deadening, carpet, door panels)
-18 Tein RA Coilovers
-33 Exhaust if you replace with T1R single
-12 Header
-11.5 Airbags (5 pt. harness makes them obsolete)
-10 Catalytic Converter (Replace with T1R straight pipe)
-5.5 Cruise Control unit and cable
-35 AC plus AC radiator/fan & lines
Volk CE28 Rims:
17x7.5": 13.8 lbs
17x9.0": 14.8 lbs
Stock '00-03: 17.5 & 18.6 lbs

~300lbs

I wouldn't remove the Overflow tank for the radiator--it's there for a reason and no way does it weigh 15 lbs. It should never have more than about 24 oz. of coolant in it, so it doesn't weigh very much more than a medium sized bottle of Gatorade. The Cruise control isn't mostly electronics, btw--you need to pretty much break the cable off the gas pedal, so I'm not sure how reversible it is.

Alot of the weight savings I did were free and though the car isn't really legal, it's still safer than stock. Everything that wasn't free was purchased for a reason other than weight loss. That they also decreased lbs was an added benefit. Lesson is: do your research before you buy anything--the Tein RA and the BuddyClub dampers are equivalent in terms of performance and cost, for instance, but the Tein are almost 5 lb. lighter per shock. Stock Bridgestones in 205/225 16s weigh just as much as 235/275 17" Kumhos.

Stock head unit and speakers are actually pretty light, considering. I took them out only to find that the weight loss (~6 lbs) just wasn't worth having to listen to only the singular drone of the exhaust.

Stock steering wheel has been replaced with a Sparco quick release, since that last pic was taken, too!

If you really think changing lugnuts (they won't fit with stock rims) and removing the badges is going to remove weight I have a better idea for you. Are you fat? Go on a diet. Always remember to pee before you get into your car. Shave your entire body and exfoliate your skin with jdm sandpaper. Wear nothing but a lycra speedo and cut holes in it to improve airflow/ reduce weight. And most importantly- friends are just dead weight so keep your relationships off the road.

You know, every time you assemble a car, there seems to be, like 200 pounds at least of fasteners (incluing nuts, bolts, dowels, washers, screws)...

So here's a quick way to lose a bunch of weight: starting from the front of the car, and working your way rearwards, remove every fourth fastener you come across. This could mean upwards of 50 lb!

Yea... That and maybe only put 1 gallon of gas in your tank at a time! That's how some draggers do it. Put just enough fuel that you need.
Hey! even 10-15 gallons of gas can get really heavy.

i always thought the best/easiest weight savings was the following...

Non Adjustable Shell Racing Seats -60
Single Exhaust -30
Spare Tire and Jack Kit Delete -30

Thats an easy 120 pound loss, and no real damage to driveability....my two cents
