We Rank (residual value) !
I did a search and didn't find this article, linked via the LA Times, on the Top Ten/Worst Ten residual value cars. We are number 8 at 59% of value after 36-months (that was the measure). While there, you can also check the worst 10 (17% by Chevy Tracker).
We follow some impressive stock...911-GT, Benz-CLK, Z8, NSX,911-turbo. Thoughts? [Damn I hate winter.]

Residual value is based on the car's MSRP. Many of the S2000's that were purchased more than 36 months ago cost much more than the MSRP. I paid $34,394 to get one of the first ones. Others owners paid even more.

All depends on where ya live. In the north east a WRX that is 3 years old with 60,000 miles are going for around $15,000. One that has around 36,000 miles are going for around $18,000 easy. Not bad for a car with a $24,000 msrp. Also Good luck finding a MINI S for $14,000. Thats a dream. I'd be surprise if you could find a regular mini with 36,000 miles for that price. Mini "s" Around here are going for around 20k with 36,000 miles!
Thats nice and all, but go try and trade your S in and see what you get. Unfortunatley the current recession and new car auto incentives are absolutely killing the resale on all used cars. Especially sports cars in the winter.
