Weight of J's exauhst and manifold ?

Weight of J's exauhst and manifold ?
How much does J's 70mm exauhst and exauhst manifold weigh? I'm trying to compare it to the weight of the Amuse R1000 and exauhst manifold. Which ever is the lightest I will get.... soon.

Why is your decision set on weight? I would guess that the Amuse manifold is lighter than the J's, but the J's gains more HP. I could be wrong on weight. Not to mention, you will have to wait 3-4 months to get a Amuse header, and the J's can be found in stock today.

I want to get mods that help with weight reduction. I got this idea from watching BMI and Keiichi (or was it somebody else) saying something like "The key to this cars speed (Amuse S2000 "Touge Monster") is that it has so many light weight parts!" Finding out that the Amuse R1000 is only 9 lbs compared to the stock exauhsts 50 somethin' lbs! Also the Amuse exauhst manifold saves a lot of weight from the stock one.
I'm not really basing my purchase on weight. Price is also a factor. J's seems to have the right price compared to Amuse. But is it worth spending over a grand for something that weighs close to the same as stock (that's why I'm curious about J's exauhst and maifold weight) and adds hp or pay just a little more and get something way lighter and adds just as much hp or even more?
Time isn't a factor since I'm deployed right now and can purchase the parts in time when I get home from Iraq.

Well, The J's header does produce more HP. The weight difference between the J's header and the Amuse is not more than a couple of pounds. The HP difference definitely makes up for the extra pound, hands down. The Amuse exhaust is nice, but the Top Secret or Veilside is even lighter. I would say that if you are staying NA...the Top Secret exhaust is one of the best choices. I think the weight savings that they refer to on the Amuse s2k is more along the lines of taking things out. Such as, the spare tire, passenger seat, and other things like that. +, the J's header can be ordered through AJ-Racing (AJ-racing.com) and they are the best company that I have ever dealt with. My $.02
