Default Weight limite, who's exceeded it?

Who has exceeded the I believe the #400 weight limite and did you have any problem with the shocks bottoming out or tires rubbing? And did a new set of springs fix that?

I've exceeded the 200 lb weight limit, but have not experienced any problems. Of course I only exceed it when I have to pick up my business partner from the airport, which isn't very often. Not sure what would happen if you did that everyday though.

I exceed it all the time and I notice no difference at all. Once in a while if I'm towing arounf my fat ass friend I notice the car isn't as quick as it shoul dbe, but suspension wise there is no difference at all, as far as I can tell.

I only ask this becuase of my fat ass and the wife and our stuff in the trunk for a weekend or something, I know the weight limit can be exceeded very easy I was considering lowering it 1.5" when I got it, does the after market springs you buy have a higher rate to them or how are they being rated compared to the stock as I don;t know what the ratings for them are...

I exceed the limit all the time; it's really no problem whatsoever. In fact I ran a 6.0sec 0-60 and a 14.6 1/4 with 450 lbs of me and a passenger.

I really think it's just a CYA ("cover your a$$") number on Honda's part. Anyone know what weight limit is listed in overseas owners manuals (JDM, Oz, Europe)? I'd guess they'd pick a round number like 200kg, which would mean even 450 lbs is fine...

Same here, I exceed the limit with regularity. The ONLY thing I notice is it is significantly harder to get a tire-spinning launch with a heavy passenger.

I exceeded it once when I had my friend and 2 chicks in the passenger's seat.
