-Sound Deadening ~5 lbs.
-Bucket seats ~20 lbs
-Titanium Exhaust ~40 lbs.
-Replacing softop with hardtop ~20 lbs.
-Aftermarket header 10 lbs.
-Aftermarket intake 2 lbs.
-Aftermarket suspension 15 lbs.
-Removal of spare tools and tires ~20 lbs.
-Carbon fiber hood and trunk ~5 lbs.

take out the windshield and wear goggles! drive naked, only have the s2k key on your key chain take out all the light bulbs, fill your tires with helium....lose the rear view mirror(who needs it anyway) take out metal front and rear bumpers, take our air bags, take the side impoact beams out of the doors...

my racing only S2000 (click signature link) is 2415 (roughly) when empty..... i do have the added weight of the rollcage but besides that i am down to nothing... so i have dropped roughly 345lbs.....

no windows, no radio, lightweight racing seat, no airbags, lightweight 16"CE28N's, single sided ti exhaust, no a/c, no heater core.

Just giving you and idea of what my car weighs....i need it to weigh 2600lbs with me in it..... otherwise I could drop a few more lbs by removing the door beams, lighter battery and header.... and I guess carbon fiber stuff ($$$$$).

Ok, those are too much and too hardcore for me. I guess spare tire and tools are enough for now.

I'd go on a diet and lose 20lbs and spend no money on that!

Oh, yeah I probably will save some food money.

Hmm so if you can tell the difference between driving alone with an empty fuel tank and then with a decent-sized passenger and full tank, then maybe the list above might be worthwhile, otherwise not

if u wanna go faster turn tighter, and keep the stock look and comfort? herer we go..

get some nice 15" rims there are plenty out there
get a lighter suspension set up
after market exhaust 1 tip
customize battery holder (get stuff from home depot)
take out window wiper fluid container (who ever use it)
get bucket seats
take out trunk mats, (cuz inside the trunk dont have to look nice)
after market steeringwheel
get a slim head unit.
floor matts
lighter battery
customize intake (get stuff from home depot again)

if u wanna go hardcore, and still keep stock look.

get all of the above and then

get carbon fiber hood, trunk, fenders all around, doors, side skirts, front bumper, rear bumper , no wing then paint it all the color of your car
this will save u tons of weight, plus the comfort of ur stock s2k
