JJ,
I am thinking about putting the Mugen intake on my car too. Since that requires cutting the stock hood, do you know how it would fit on the J's hood?

Hey fellas!,

You forgot one thing; when that hot girl you have been dreaming about comes and sits on your hood, she won't dent it with her 110 lbs. of sexyness.

I think most of the weight savings comes from your lightened wallet. IMO, carbon fiber w/o any major benefit pegs the rice meter and doesn't look nearly as good as the stock hood.

I love carbon fiber on Ducatis, though!

The fit and finished on my J's Hood is pretty good, however it requires a TON of adjustment to get it just right.. and I still don't have mine right.. first the hood would shift to the right when I latched it down, so I had to move the latch.. second the right side was higher than the left when latch down, now the whole thing needs to be moved ovre about 1/8 of an inch and it will be perfect..

Everyone that has seen it has been very impressed with the weave..

$1150 huh? How much for a group buy?

and whats that about no major benefits? The major benefit is the 10C cooler hood! Is that not a major benefit?

BTW, will the hood interfer at all with the strut bar or Spoon Air Duct?

Maybe a new final gear from J's, would be a better buy? Although, I dont know what the install cost on that would be or the complications?
