Default Weird...Auto up / down on driver side window stopped working

I had the car in for service yesterday to fix the passenger side mirror and now the driver side window auto up /down function has stopped working Its not the "lock" button issue.

Anybody had this and what is the solution?

Thanxs!

Jonas

Jonas,

It's a common thing. The switches are defective often. The dealer should replace it. IT's been posted often on the site.

There's no "auto-up" in the S2000. However, many cars are starting to have "auto-up" now, for example the new Audi A4.

Auto-down only on the S. The Sequoia has auto up and down. What a pain in the a$$ it is having auto up and down. The switch is a very light touch and requires a lot of concentration to put the window down part of the way.

Some after market kits are available to provide auto-up and down on the windows. I think you can add the feature with some alarm systems.

can't see how any car can have an auto up unless it has some sort of tension sensor like a auto. garage door to rebound and drop.

My 2002 CRV has auto up. I'm sure there must be some sort of safety measure to keep from chopping your arm off, but I'm not gonna try it to see .

There is a TSB out on the auto down problem.
