Default Weird engine noise....

ok... i dunno if my engine had this kind of noise before i did this.....

So i got bored tonight, then i took my car out for a spin. I was practicing heel & toes at the range of 4k-6k RPM, ( im a noob ) so i kinda messed up a few times. I also floored my car one time from 10 - 60, and i grined pretty hard shifting from 1st to 2nd , so i didnt made it to 60.

Later on, i gave up hurting my baby like that. So i put my soft top up, closed the windows, turned off my musics, and decided just cruise around. And this is when i started to notice that everytime my RPM passes 3k, then i can hear something like "tatatatattatatata" which sounds like open/shut valves noise, comming from behind the dashboard. I dunno i had this kinda noises before, because i usually dont turn off my music when im driving. and i can only hear this noise when my cabin gets very quiet. so im not sure if this is normal or not. Did any of you guys' s2k have this noise??

Sorry about my poor explaination due to english is my second language, so i can only pronouce w/e i heard instead using the right word to describe it . i'll be very appreciated any of u guys can help

I honestly have no idea what it could be, hard to really understand what it sounds like from that explanation cause it could be so many things. But if you're new at things like the heel toe, rev-matching, and anything of that sort...you might want to either be with someone who knows what they're doing, or do some research on it. I hope you didn't do anything to your car...

You keep getting all kinds of problems lately with your S, aren't you

How about the handling of your S, did you find something there?

"tatatatattatatata" sounds like the old famous Honda rod knock. but hopefully thats not your case on a practically brand new car.

Since the noise is quiet enough that you're not sure whether it's a new noise or not then you're probably OK.

How loud is it? Also, more details, or we'll never be able to help you. Does the rythm of the tatatata match the RPM level? So it starts 3000, at 6000, does it tatatata twice as fast? Does it happen in every gear, or just 1st. Does turning the A/C on or off fix anything? How about the Fan. Do you know what it sounds like when the valves need to be adjusted? Do you know what an exaust rattle sounds like?
