weird gas gauge

Default weird gas gauge

i know u cant trust our gauge, but when i drive kinda hard, the gas goes up.

Prolly because it moves the float around in the tank and thinks there is more gas there than there is.

well...i have another problem with it. everytime when i full tank it, after like 2 minutes one bar goes off already......

I never pay that close attention to the gauge just because of how bizarre it reads.
I fill it, and when the gas light comes on, I fill it again.
The bars mean nothing to me

yeah, its from the fuel in the tank moving around and giving the car a false reading.

I reset the odometer and go on the mileage. I fill up around 230-240 miles.

that's what i do too

240 is "I need gas", and at 250 I'm usually telling myself "stop looking for gas under $3.15, you're not gonna find it"

Yeah, it's hard for Honda to build an accurate gas gauge because of the second gas tank.
