Default Weird problem!

Ok so I just got off school. I went to the car and was going to leave the top up with the windows down so I turn on the car, let it warm up and hit the windows button and neither of them work, I'm like wtf. So I play with on off swtich by the window controls on my side. Nothing works. So I try and put the top down because the windows automatically go down with that. But they don't go down. I tried pulling the batter and resetting the ecu when I got home and nothing works. WTF could it be? I don't think its the window regulators because the windows have been working perfect. They worked great this morning and they don't work. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!!!

Have you tried checking all the fuses?

ps. Pulling the batter terminal to reset the ECU is not necessary. It can be done far simpler.

pps. Resetting the ECU whenever the car hiccups is not necessary. It's not a "cure all".

I think I looked at that right fuses. I looked at the ones below the battery but I still wasnt sure what I was looking at.

I know the battery isn't a cure all. But I thought I would try.

Did you look at the fuses at your feet? Kick panel at the driver's side?

There is a fuse for each window, so that tells me there is something else. The chances of two fuses blowing simultaneously...? I don't know. Maybe this should be in electronics. Whadyathink?

I dunno what to think. I dont think I would get much help in electronics, thats a very slow moving forum.

So did that show to be the problem? If so, I'm glad your windows work, but I'm pissed off about being wrong

Dude, fuses don't just "go". You have something else wrong with your electrical system. Investigate.

^This is correct, for some reason the amps went higher than usual. Check your windows if they slide easily when using them up & down. Perhaps they got overload in their system. Furthermore check the electrics if this happens again.
