i have a strange rattle,..sounds almost like small screw in a plastic cup coming from what i think is the driver door but slightly behind where the door latches closed. i cant pinpoint it at all because its faint enough not to tell where it is but loud enough to drive me nuts.....i only hear it when the top is up. i have checked under the seat, the trunk, everywhere. is there something i am missing that could be loose???? i was thinking maybe the spring under the seat but why would it all of a sudden start to bother me?? i am boggled

it almost sounds like there is something loose in the quarter panel area. sometimes i hear it rattling around,..other times , nothing.

 

yeah, my car makes 2 or three different rattles or squeeks (sp?) when I go slow and hit bumps going slow.
thank god the engine tunes everything else out when its singing
