S2KCA is working on a sponsorship agreement with NTB and Sears at this time. Details are still being worked out, but discounted pricing on tires and services will be included.

FYI

I know when I bought a pair of tires from them two weeks ago, I paid $150 less (for the pair and mounting/balancing) than anyplace I called locally plus they actually knew which tire I needed and had it in stock. Of the four tire shops I called locally, every single one of them told me that the S-02 was completely discontinued, only the Firestone store was able to find the correct one after I told them that they did exsist.

My personal experience ain't so great. My son and I recently bought a set of Bridgestones for my son's Accord from them. After weeks of hassle, including alignment checks, rim runout tolerance checks, & 4 balancing attempts, he had to send them back to them due to poor quality (out of round laterally). He ended up buying Dunlops locally, BTW they are balanced and run smooth. Had to get them put on in order to send the defective Sh$t back. A month long saga of BS plus the out of pocket cost of mounting, 4 attempts at balancing, unnecessary alignments, rim checks, shipping cost both directions and no real help from these folks. Close to $200 down the toilet, a month of hassle, and a lesson in very very poor service.

I had heard great things about Tire Rack and their prices. Prices are good but if you receive a quality problem from them watch out. They will not help you out of it. I will not be buying from them again. Beware!

While no doubt, some have had problems with Tire Rack, like proably 1000's of others have had with others companies as well. Take this time to bring this to there attention. They are here now, with thier own forum. hopefully giving advice and information regarding everything tires.
I personally I'm glad that they are here, they will only help our community, and everyone will benifit.
Welcome Tire Rack.

out of round is a characteristic of the tire itself. its not an insult at all. I suggest you do a search for "out of round" on google.com or deja.com to look up more information. The symptoms are all there, but it can be difficult to diagnose.
