Default Well, 249 miles, and someone hits me...

Bought my car Thursday and here it is Tuesday morning and somebody decides to rear-end me at a stop light. I then hit the car in front of me. Well, just goes to show you, it is impossible to keep something "perfect" My front and rear bumpers need to be replaced and so does my key. It was bent in the ignition by my knee I think. Total estimate was just shy of $2,000, and I'm confident with the body shop. Anyone ever use AMERICA'S AUTO BODY in Schaumburg, Illinois? Anyway, just thought I'd vent. My sadness, anger and total dis-belief just won't go away.

Sorry to hear it, dude. That really sucks. "You just can't keep anything nice" as my mother in law used to say.

BTW, were you wearing your seat belt?

X, please post this in the Upper MidWest Forum. There are a TON of chicago guys there that can reccommend body shops. Dont make any decisions yet. Specifically talk to Lee (S2000GT), Urmil (Luder94) or Pete (Ruexp67)

They will be more than happy to help you out!

PS: Keep an eye on that forum for local meets to. I come down from Milwaukee every once in a while for them.
