since he's rich, make him pay the damages for ur car + emotional distress caused by other morons' comments + ur opportunity cost for this whole hassle.

and finally, tell him to retake his driving test
Now I know why insurance is so expensive in Canada

that's shady. why do you think people have insurance...? the increase in cost of his policy will be less than he pays for the repair. next time, get the dude's insurance info and call it a day. you'll rest easier and when you find out, sooner or later, that he hit your wheel also and bent some suspension piece, he can't just straight up play innocent and tell you "what accident?"

have alignment checked, could have just hit the tire and maybe bent something you dont see??

looks like bumper, fender, maybe wheel? Tire? suspension??
you might have 2 body shops give you a estimate (I'm guessing it $2000-2200)
good luck hope he pays up

It is at the shop

He paid for the parts, so they can start work. His deductible is probably $500 and will end up paying $1300ish. So it is cheaper to spend the extra $800 over the deductible rather than raise your insurance..... he has money, remember?

My dad bought me the lip and paid for everything concerning that. They are doing an alignment, I actually had one done on Tuesday morning, and it felt off on the ride home. The wheel wasn't damaged from this, but from the previous owner, and I didn't want to make him pay for something he didn't do.
