Default Wet Okole Seatcovers

On xviper's suggestion, I purchased a set of Wet Okole's to protect the leather during the winter. Some observations-

The red centers are BRIGHT RED. Don't let the pictures fool you. The red does not really match the red on the seats, door inserts, or center console.

The fit is very good. The middle of the seatback and bottom rides slightly off the seat surface, but you'd be hard-pressed to tell looking at them.

Installation doesn't take too long, but I'd hate to do it more than twice a year- getting those straps connected under the seats is a real pain.

You ride a little bit higher and further forward (duh). As a result, my head now brushes the ceiling of the hardtop.

All in all, a winner. I feel like my car has been fully made ready for winter now.

I found that removing the seats makes the installation of the covers much easier.

I also took my covers off for the winter and will put them back on for summer? Leather/heat/sticky NG for me=covers Winter - extra clothing - need more space etc = no covers.

I also agree that the driving position changes slightly but the covers do adjust some after you sit in/on them repeatedly.

The 'headrest' area becomes more usable without wearing a helmut.

I really like mine, and I agree with Nate. It's easier to put them on with the seats removed. I get lots of compliments from the looks of mine.

This picture distorts the color somewhat. Actually, they're pretty bright red. I keep my covers on year-round - the neoprene fabric doesn't freeze you in cold weather.

I got mine from a group buy:

Maybe you can strike a deal with the guy mentioned, or set up another group buy.
