Rear ones are the 'more' important ones as it's the rear tyres that keep the car pointing straight. Also, understeer is much 'safer' and easier to deal with so in the wet you definatelly do not want to sacrifice the rear-end grip.
Also, if you have better front than rear tyre that it will make the back even looser bacause the front will 'hang on' while the back will be losing grip. It's much better the other way around if safty is your primary concern.
