Default What 1/4 mile times with 4.56 or 4.77

I was just wondering if anyone with just I/H/E or similar+gears, had ran there car in the quarter mile and what type of times those mods put you at?

Gears make most sense for an AP1 in the 1/4 since their 4th gear goes way beyond what an NA s2000 can trap in the 1/4

Gears don't make sense for an AP2 in the 1/4 since totally stock an AP2 is almost riding the limiter in 4th gear crossing the traps. Switching to a shorter gear will make the shift to 5th gear necessary, and the question is does the perfomance increase negate the time wasted for an extra shift?

Just wanted to toss that in

I have I/H/Stock exhaust + 4.56 on my AP1, but I don't do quarter mile runs. I track my car every now and then, and it really is a different beast. However, there are many, many people on this board with real timeslips and gears, and the general concensus is you shave about .5 seconds off your 1/4 mile time with an AP1 when using the 4.56 gears. A great run in a stock AP1 is about 13.8 - 13.9, so you can do the math.
