Somewhere this winter there'll be this squirrel wondering where the hell his food is.

What a pain. I had to take the entire intake box out to get all of the mysterious objects out. What the deal with the hollow / unaccessible portion of the box? There is only a little hole between it and the portion of the box where the air filter resides and it seem to be chambered for some reason...

About the extra HP, y'all might be right. I took her out after I was done and embarrassed a mustang...

What The- sorry about that

To those who hold the small woodland creature theory- that sounds like a lot of work for the little fella, there were at least 100 - 150 of those little objects in there. I guess it would be fairly easy for a mouse to get in there.

 

i thought the unopened burritto falling on one persons lap from above with the top down was weird.

It looks like dog food to me. My friend Dave has a garage where we build a lot of our stock cars and he has a few dogs. The mice take the food from the bin and hide it everywhere. We are always picking out dog food from the intake or from the air filter of all the cars. Some of our engines have been sitting for a while and yea, they are full. We have occasionally taken off the heads and found some food down sitting on the top of the pistons. Mice can climb up walls and squeeze thru about anything.

Damn, I think that is the one of the weirdest things I've ever heard of

Maybe like someone said a rat or mouse could have brought those in through the intake..........or if you left your airbox cover off for a while something could have crept in there.

 

First time I opened my filter box, I found some puppy chow. The car is parked about 2 feet from the dog food bin. I though that the car must have some serious suction to pick up the dog food. The mice thing is a better bet.
