What About Spa Yellow?

Here's the link to the NSX site with colors. We miss out on Long Beach Blue Pearl and Imola Orange Pearl.

I love the Spa Yellow so much I had to run out and get a substitute yellow Honda to make up for not getting a yellow S2000.

I love my spa yellow. Frankly, while I was drooling over most of the '00 S2000s when they came out, I was really disappointed in what even the Honda dealer had to admit were "Al Gore color choices." Yeah, some of them can look pretty classy, but it's a sports car, man!
I've had no negative comments (and with my friends, they'd let me have it if they could!)--most folks think it's appropriate. Also, when driving the freeways boxed in by huge SUVs, I like the extra visibility.
A week or so ago, the guard at work asked, "What would you call that color?" Y E L L O W !!!, I yelled, as I roared away....

My biggest peeve is people who pull right out in front of you (and then usually drive below the speed limit). At least with yellow they won't have the excuse they didn't see you.
Some cars I loved came in yellow but I regrettably didn't wait for the one I wanted. CRX and MR2.

I think spa yellow is a great color, but it doesn't fit my personality. I went with the Silver/Black, because I felt comfortable with those colors. Even the red leather was too much for me. Just go with your gut. Who cares what others think? After all, you are the only one who has to like it. I feel a truism fits well here:
"Opinions are like a$$holes... everybody has one, and everyone thinks everybody else's stinks."

when i first decided i wanted this car i thought... YELLOW FOR SURE
when i first knew i was getting this car i thought... YELLOW FOR SURE
when i first went to the dealer to test drive the
car i test drove the silverstone/black and thought... YELLOW FOR SURE
when my dad asked me, why so anxious to get yellow and not that hot and different looking silverstone color, i said, YELLOW JUST LOOKS SO PERFECT FOR THAT CAR, IT'S THE PERFECT YELLOW... NOT TOO BRIGHT, NOT TOO DULL... JUST RIGHT!
after owning it, i got many compliments on the car, the color etc.
it just stands out more than any other.
people have asked me, "won't you get bored of yellow after a while?" but yellow is like silver... it's just a color. silver is special and so is yellow or red or blue... why would any of those get "boring" after a while?
4 months in (currently) i've been having some issues on how the black roof is too hard for the eye to accept on yellow... like the colors don't flow right at all (too big of a color contrast)... but when i see one on the road w/the top up (a yellow one) i'm totally satisfied and think it looks just fine.
w/the top down... THE CAR'S AMAZING!!!!!!
at times i feel immature for choosing it, but i love how it stands out in a parking lot full of cars.
only thing is... YOU EITHER LOVE IT OR HATE IT... it's not silver where you can be mutual and not really care.
my friend has a silverstone, and after hating that color for so long (cause to me it always looks dirty) seeing his sparkle with sun light and how well the smoked (reverse/blinker) rear lights and the black top all flow together so smoothly, i get jealous at times, BUT HE'S QUICK TO TELL ME, "I WISH I WENT WITH YELLOW TOO, BUT I LACKED THE BALLS!"
his car looks good w/the top up, looks really nice in direct sun, hides dirt very well, but in never really is rewarding after a good wash/wax... it always just looks the same IMO... ( i had the same problem w/my silver TL... clean or dirty, always looked the same)
though my friend's silverstone is hot, it blends in too well w/other cars... it's really not the eye catcher for such an eye catching car...
if i had to do it all over again... i'd stick to YELLOW.
man... sorry for blabbing on and on, but those are the two colors i was torn deciding between...
luckily (for me) the silverstone is discontinued in the US!

I've always wanted a yellow car. My wife on the other hand hated yellow, but I figured it's MY car I'm getting a YELLOW one. I did and I love it. Turns heads all the time(sometimes the wrong heads) Spa Yellow is the perfect color for such a hard edged little sports car. Silver may be classy, Red may be classic, Black is beautiful also but Spa Yellow Pearl just seems to be the color this car was destined to wear.
