Default What to ask for my S.

Right now i'm on the fence about selling my S. My buddy is selling his nsx for a great price and I'm thinking about picking it up. I just dont know what I should ask for my car.

The car is in really great shape for being an 02 with 102k on the clock. couple chips here and there, but the body is straight as a razor and shines like new.

Private Party KBB says 13.5 in excellent condition, I would say it is in excellent condition. The wheels alone are worth 3K and I know i can sell those without a problem if I need to. What do you guys think?

From the looks of the pics your front lip doesn't match and your flared fenders and valve cover are going to narrow your market. You can ask 16-17k if you want w/ the wheels, but Im imagining you'll get somewhere around 12-13k for it from someone who wants the hellaflush look.

Might be a tough sale unless you find the right person that wants the same look. Since you flared the fenders and all hard to put it back to stock. Sell much easier stock then modded especially when more than just a few simple bolt ons.

Agree with this

Thats why im taking the S i got back to stock before i sell it. Its much easier to find people who like the stock look than find the far fewer people who like it the exact way you do. Plus, with modded cars you can generally get more back by parting them out than you can selling as is.

To the seller: you could get a new set of stock fenders and stock wheels for less than 1k total, sell the car for 13.5 and then sell the rims and flared fenders separate...only problem with this is then the fender VINs dont match...

How much more are you looking to get for it above and beyond the $13.5?

Flared fenders and cut/removed liners would be a deal breaker for me, as a potential buyer. Agree with the above post.

You will definitely do better if you part out the car. Sell the wheels, coilovers, headlights etc and have people give you their stock stuff. You will easily get 5-7k for that stuff I would think and then sell the car for $13-15k and you will be ahead.

Good call. I think I'm gonna think about it some more and fully decide if I want to go turbo or buy the NSX.
