Default What big brake kit?

I am thinking about getting a big barake kit. I want all four corners upgraded. If you have one, what company did you go with and why? Also, where did you get it from? Thanks!

This is more of a product inquiry, moving to S2000 talk.

As long as it's bling it won't matter.

I don't think that there is a rear set available.

it depends on what you want, and what kind of wheels and such.....

willwood is in the process of making a rear brake kit that utilizes the ebrake......

I had the same question a while back. It came down in between the Wilwood kit and the Stoptech kit. Wilwood is suppose to have the ebrake thing out soon, but they've been saying that for a while (you lose the ebrake once you upgrade the rears).

The best value is probably stoptech. Plus you get a discount from S2ki marketplace if you're a paid member.

In the end, I decided against it. You have to figure, big brakes = bigger wheels needed = need more money to look and fit right. Our stock brakes are pretty damn good. If I do anything, I'll get the stoptech stage 2 which upgrades the rotors and brake lines. I think after that they should be nice. But, it's your money and a little bling never hurt.

you don't need bigger wheels......

with the wilwood kits... you can use the 4piston unit with 12.2 inch rotor with the stock 16inch wheels from the ap1's..... with the 6piston unit with 12.2 inch rotor you need a 3-5mm spacer...

if you got the ap2 17 inch wheels you can get the 6 piston with 13 inch rotor but you will need a 3-5mm spacer

I don't think they care any more. That was 2 1/2 years ago.
