"Well, the 2000 will be faster, but lets put it this way, when someone asks you what you drive, do you want to say a Honda, or do you want to say a Porsche "

This comment is the type that pisses me off and gives me sufficient evidence to believe that the person who stated it is a complete moron and also a snobby, self-centered a$$hole. Thank you very much.

If you ask me, I'd rather be an openminded Honda owner ... (not all Boxter owners are a-holes, but this one sure seems like one.)

Who wants a Honda anyway right? I do.

I've owned 3 Porsche's and I have to admit that sometimes I'd be embarassed when someone asked me what kind of car I drive and I'd say Porsche. Now I just say S2000 and those who know what an S2K is actually respond with more enthusiasm than people did when I used to say Porsche. Times are a changin.

Ahhh.... the world still has badge victims. One can't help but have pity for the person who has to BUY happiness and satisfaction ... and based on nothing more than a brand name too.

Not surprising in certain circles. go figure

When people ask you what type of car you drive do you say Honda or do you say S2000? There is a big difference in the type of responce you get. Not that I am putting down the reliable and reputable name of Honda but when people hear it they automatically think practical, reliable, economical not raw on the edge sports roadster with a 9K redline (S2000)

I liked the comment about how S2Ks are "nervous".

I wonder if that guy was projecting his own feelings into our car?

I for one prefer the nervous, flighty feel...

Ten to one that if Porsche had built the S2K, it would sell for $60K plus...
