pretty much what I am looking for is a cage that I can keep all the interior parts with it... take out the convertable top and motors and cover it with a tonneau cover and cut holes for the bars to go through for a clean look.
Thanks

1) better define which interior parts you are wanting to keep and what you consider to be a "clean look"
2) better define the purpose of this cage
3) realize you are probably in the wrong forum as soon as you use the words "clean look"

As long as you are willing to lose the convertible top, that shouldn't be too difficult to have custom-fabricated. But you'll have to:
1) better define which interior parts you are wanting to keep and what you consider to be a "clean look"
2) better define the purpose of this cage

I definatly want the cage to serve its purpose
The main purpose of my roll bar is actually to be a secure mounting point for my harnesses. The secondary purpose is to protect me if it rolls over. The tertiary purpose is to add stiffness to the rear of the chassis.
Those considerations all played a role in deciding exactly how the bar would be designed and what bits of interior were left in versus what bits were removed.
I too wanted to keep a bunch of the interior in the car, to make it liveable if I want to ferry it to Spokane or Portland. But some bits had to come out because they got in the way of the primary purpose of the roll bar. That is to say, I lost the OEM seatbelts and the glove box because I wanted the harness bar structure to go through that area.

You mean to look cool to the girls and give you something to hit your head on in an accident?
more is always better right?
