Not trying to thread jack but is the black around my windsheild just tape? If so how do I remove it and how would I replace it if I wanted to. I don't like doing anything to my baby that can't be undone but I'd still like to know how to take it off.

BTW, I'd go with silverstone. I'm going to see how my soft top does this winter before letting go of a portion of my supercharger fund though. I have some good pics of silverstone on silverstone but I can't post them. If you want some of them send me your email.

I put on a new black HT on my MY01 silverstone this month. All this time while I was craving for a HT, I never thought twice wanting anything but black. For me, there is too much metallic look for a small car with silver HT. I will put up a picture when I can but it's raining right now here in No. Cal. and the car's pretty dirty. BTW, I bought a yellow one discounted by Hardtopguy and painted it black.

Looking forward to seeing pics.

Btw, since you had to repaint it, doesnt the cost of labor/paint for a yellow to black, come out to be the same if you just purchased the correct color outright?

I paid $1800 for the top, $100 shipping , $400 for painting. When I looked around, I didn't see the price for a new Berlina that low. (I got a break for shipping because it shipped from So. Cal. and it was delivered to a business address--the bodyshop where it was repainted.)

Did the bodyshop install it too?

No. I installed the mounting hardware and the wiring myself. They are pretty straight forward to install.

I have few pictures taken today of my black HT on Silverstone, ready to be uploaded. Can someone tell me quickly where I can upload these and how I can include them in a posting? S2KI Gallery's My Album is disabled for me. I have Yahoo! photo album storage that I can use, but I don't know how to include their URL addresses. Please help.
