Monte Carlo Blue? I believe Laguna Blue Pearl didn't debut until 2006.

you can tell it was repainted because the faux vents in the bumper have been painted. look under the hood and door sills. they may still be original color

yeah the vents should be black and Suzuka came with blue interior, so that car was definitely repainted....I wouldn't pay that much for it, but then again, I'm not a fan of blue interior....

Definite paint job as previously mentioned. Probably will see the original Suzuka Blue color on the inside of the engine bay. It will be the same color as the dashboard.

To answer your other question....I'd walk away, there are better deals to be had on less suspect cars. Personally, I'm always suspicious of repainted cars.

That color blue looks pretty good on the ap1. Yes it was originally suzuka blue. I would say do a carfax on it and see if it has any bad history. If it looks good go for it. Some people just want a custom color on their s2k's so they get a paint job, it just doesnt mean it was wrecked, ect.. take it for a test drive and have a mechanic look under it and make sure everything is A okay if your interested in buying it.
