I just got a red S2K, and Honda is going to paint my calipers for me. Any suggestions on what color I should use? There is some awful blue color on them now and it looks pretty bad.

Thanks.

I just saw someone do them red (on a red s2) it looked pretty good. If it were me I would just do it black

I did mine with the G2-System two-part red, and it was pretty close to the red on the rest of the car, at least while they were clean.

However, the red calipers with the black backing plates behind the pads really emphasize that these are cheap sliding calipers rather than more expensive ones with opposing pistons.

I won't undo it, but I don't think I'd do it if I had it to do over again.

I have a red 03 with red calipers. It looks good IMO. The only other colors that would do is sliver or black but if you want them to show go with red.

black or silver painted calipers would look best. i might get flamed for this, but i don't think the S calipers are the greatest looking. i personally would draw as little attention to them as possible. again, just my thoughts...

Not the same car but I posted pics of my last car that I did the calipers on. It was a red mr-s and I painted the calipers black with red "spyder" decals. It looked pretty good imo. Here is a link to the thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...088#post1685088

I have an '03 Formula Red, and I painted my calipers red with the G2 paint system. I've had a lot of compliments on the appearance of the calipers.

Go with red to match the body.
