I ran across a thread about what you should receive when buying a hardtop but cant seem to locate it. Is it supposed to come with the cover and stand? Mine didn't, so I called 3 different dealers and they all had different answers. So which is it? thanks

 

No, the hardtop stand nor the cover does not come with the hardtop. They are pretty nice items tho. I have both and they work great. The stand is a little pricy for what it is.

If you need an inexpensive way to store your hardtop try my hardtop hoist. Much cheaper than the OEM stand which is several hunderd dollars, plus requires two people to take the top off. My hartop hoist only requires one person to lift the top off the S and hang from the garage ceiling, Best of all it is only $80.

Here it is. I have since made improvments. No metal rings used on the straps and they are now black instead of yellow.

At one point Honda was offering a stand and cover as part of a promotion to purchase a hardtop. It was limited to certain colors and has since been discontinued. There are probably some old posts on here that show it so that's where the confusion is.
