What is considered low mileage?
I just got a new job so I am thinking about getting a different car. Right now I have a 1997 Miata that I've owned since March 2015. I've constantly tinkered on it to learn basic car stuff. Mostly maintenance stuff. It has 154K miles. I want something more comfortable and a little faster.
I'm looking and most S2K's in the 10 - 12K USD range have about 100-150K miles on them. Is 150K miles low or high?

I'd say what is considers low mileage goes down as the model year goes up. So for instance 40,000 miles would be pretty low for a 2000 model year but it on an 09 it would be less impressive or not seem as low.

So y'all think an s2k with less than 5K miles per year old is what I should shoot for if I'm looking for a turnkey reliable daily driver? I'm trying to move away from the constant tinkering on the Miata because I just won't have the time or energy to do it anymore especially on a daily. I LIKE to tinker and I can do it but I just want a more solid car. If I buy an S I will probably turbo it though. I still haven't test driven an S.
