Wow, those seats really look nice! I have a RYP AP2. Can you share some info about what you did and where you got them? As an aside, have you thought about getting an OEM CR shift knob with yellow numbers/shift pattern? It would go great with your interior. (I had a shift knob early on with red numbers/shift pattern and really didn't like the red in the car.) If you like your shifter, you can do what I did and find some yellow nail polish and change the red to yellow on the shift knob. It's super easy to do and looks great.

I bought the Tomcat yellow fabric off AliExpress. Had an upholstery shop rebuilt the foam cushion and reupholster with Alcantera and yellow stitching. I wanted the yellow gear number also but I don't like the Q ball shape. Did you just applied yellow nail polish and wipe off the excess? I have yellow touch up paint that I may try, just don't want it to look off.

10-4, thanks! Again, nice job - looks great. Yep, just put the paint/polish in the grooves and then wipe off the excess.

Not really today but interior is almost fully gutted. Still need to remove door panels but the FD takes up too much room in the garage so I can’t fully open the doors. Also got my seat and steering wheel installed.

Pre fab roll cage is on order, should be about 3 more weeks until delivery. I also sheered the old shift knob off since someone decided to use a gallon of lock tight on it, so I hit what was left of the shifter with a die and threw some cheap Amazon shift knob on it.

Got my new wheel setup completed. Really happy with how it turned out. Weather is breaking, time to get out and drive!

Engine light went on. I have a 2005 silverstone s2k i bought in 2021. It’s my first ever car. Learned to drive manual on it too. Last week the engine went on. Misfires on all four cylinders was the reading. It sucks but i gotta face reality. I want to save my car as much as i can. I went ahead and started doing some research to fix my car. That’s how I got here. Today I replaced my coils and installed new sparkplugs. Car drives better and starts like a new car. After a day driving it. The dreaded engine light came on again. Same readings but car idles and drives better. Just slightly. I also already did a compression test.

Cylinder 2-3 are all healthy. 245-255psi. Cylinder 1 is dead 125-135psi.

Next step is to do a leak down test and do a valve cover adjustment. Already bought the gaskets. I plan on doing this myself. It’s stressful but at the same addicting. Almost very unhealthy. All I’m thinking about is how to fix my car. Any advice helps. I’ll keep posting for updates.
