Default what to do with 1800 bucks

Ok heres the situation I have 1800 bucks in store credit at a speed shop. I'v been doing reserch on different performance upgrades and found that other then a super charger or turbo theres not much hidden horse power to gain from say I/H/E or the vtec controller. Please confirm.

i also was thinking about lowering my car and getting the all the bars to stiffin up the frame. However I have read a couple of threds were people say this will throw the balance off on the car and would do more hard then good. Please confirm.

What would you guys do with 1800 in store credit keep in mind you can't ask for cash back. If you guys can tell me what gains I would expect to gain from the performance parts assuming they are comptech or mugen.

I'd pick up the AEM EMS with the larger portion of the money. With some dyno time you could secure some modest gains, but more importantly: you will have the ability to tune any other mods on the car in the future.
