Default What to do

The S has been my dream car for awhile and only until recently have I realized that I now very well have the ability to buy one.

I was in the Honda dealer the other day. For the hell of it I got some quotes. I could trade in my '05 Accord for $10,000 (62k miles, 5MT makes it harder to sell, & big scratch on bumper), put that towards a MY07, lease it for approximately $210 for 3 years and afterwards it would be about $19,186 to own.

I could keep my Accord as a DD, get a loan, and look at used S2ks in my area.

I test drove my friend's AP1 today and it was like the ultimate tease. Right now I'm laying in bed on my laptop thinking about driving the car.

I don't know what to do, or if I should even buy an S or not.

dont do it...if you are going to lease, i would not put $10k on it...keep it to a minimum.

the monthly payments look attractive, but if you look at the overall big picture...
you would be paying $17,560 for the lease...10k + 210(36). Then you either would have to pay another 19k plus taxes and interest (if you were to finance that). does not seem worth it in my opinion.

Make sure you budget insurance and tires into your calculations of affordability.
