Default What to do with an In-Dash Screen

When I traded my old car I kepted the system, my problem is the head unit. It's a pioneer P7300DVD (flip up screen) and I've been brainstorming on where to put it, I dont want to cut the dash cause I know I will be selling the car later on, perhaps for a new one. Any ideas??? Thanks.

I agree, the S2000 has no place for a flip-out screen and I don't mean that in a physical sense. It just won't look right without major dash modifications and even then, do you want to risk the theft and slashed top to put on in?

We do a lot of installs but for cars such as the S2000, Audi TT and a few others, it would be a sin to put on in this type of car.

My best advice is a similiar setup in our crew members Audi TT. He chose to use an In-Dash DVD player unit such as the Alpine and then custom mounting a screen either flushed in the dash or up in the visors.

I would recess mount the dash TV and then have a dummy faceplate to hide it when not in use thus minimizing theft.

Of course going this route means major dash reconstruction and $$$, it's the only way to go

I have given this some thought for my S2000 and that is my only conclusion for this car if I do chose to go with this idea.

I was looking into that, anyone heard of a LHD S with that dash?

Maybe you can buy that dash and keep the other for when you sell the car?

you know how it is, it is difficult to part with a system that has treated you well. but yeah, i've been racking my brain over this one... and I guess you're all right, theft would be huge problem with a soft top..... Thanks for advice.
