What to do with OEM wheels
Will be putting on 18" SSR GT3 wheels in the very near future (soon). What to do with the OEM Wheels/tires - should we save them or sell them? If we sell them, what price are you that have sold yours getting for them. Does anyone know what other vehicles these wheels fit?
Just put the racing stripe on the car, what do you think?

wheels: you can get anywhere from 500 to 1200 for the wheels and tires, depending on condition and need from the buyer. shipping would be about 100-125 to different parts of the country.
or...you could use them for track events and put some stickies on them. =)
the stripe doesn't look bad, quite complimentary, but I think it needs to come all the way down - on the front fascia instead of ending at the hood.
the graphic on the side, I'd have to see a side pic of it, but it looks redundant since the side of the car already says 'S2000", so might want to get rid of the factory badges. just my take.

How many miles do you have on the wheels and tires? Any scratches on them? How much would you ask for them? I might be interested in them if you want to seel them Let me know.
The stripe, I woul agree with Schatten, would look much better if it went down all the way.

The stripe is hideous and does'nt belong on ANY car (yeah, not even the Viper or the Shelby Series 1) let alone an S2000.
I've always been one to dislike (on the highest of levels) any vinyl pinstripes and/or graphics on any car! Of course, that's just my opinion. If it makes you happy, then keep it on the car.

One more thing. . .are you Asian? If so, then it's cool to have Japanese and/or Chinese lettering. If not, then you need to take it off.
Hey, again. . .if it makes you happy, keep it on!
I don't prefer the stripe either, but to each their own.
I saw your website ICHIBON, you have a lot of vehicles and garage space. I am color blind and it was hard for me to tell but it looked like your prowler had flames on the side. Is that what made it win the contest?

Those new wheels will look very sharp! It seems like you're modifying the S2000 more than your other cars...do you have a new favorite now?
How can the S2000 not be your favorite?
I don't care too much for the racing stripe, but if it makes you happy that is all that matters
I hope I have as much fun in my retirement as you look like you're having

The prowler has tribal flames. Well I believe the paint and being a prowler won in the contest.
The racing stripes were put on to make the car different, as they say, variety is the spice of life. By the way we are in our second childhood and loving it (thank you for making the S2000). . .
