Well, keep in mind this is my opinion, which is what you asked for...
Why put in cams and springs, although yes, there are some imporvements with them, are they really worth the labor and cash if you're not going FI?
Header, exhaust and CAI, sure, why not, fairly inexpensive and easy to install, I'm sure there are others out there but it's your happiness that will matter in the end.
4.44, that's your personal preference, I'm going with the 4.56 when Rick gets them done.
VAFC-II, I have one, I like it and it will probably do what you want it to for a fairly low cost, there are other more expensive items that will do much, much more than the VAFC-II will though.
Just remember to save some cash to get everything tuned.
